Project Title: Monitor Cost and Efficiency of Forest Fuels Treatment Activities Client: Placer County Location: Central Sierra Nevada
Placer County has retained TSS to assist with implementation and monitoring of fuels treatment projects in the central Sierra Nevada region of California.In conjunction with the Placer County Air Pollution Control District’s greenhouse gas reduction protocol initiative, the monitoring of current fuels treatment projects will provide baseline information regarding costs and air emissions generated.TSS and Placer County have produced a Phase I findings report (see Forest Biomass Removal on National Forest Lands report under Presentations and Papers).
