TSS Consultants has been retained by the Fire Safe Council of Nevada County (FSCNC) to facilitate a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) in accordance with the Healthy Forests Restoration Act, National Fire Plan, Federal Emergency Management Agency, Society of American Foresters, the National Association of State Foresters, Western Governors’ Association, and the National Association of Counties’ “Preparing a Community Wildfire Protection Plan: A Handbook for Wildland-Urban Interface Communities.” TSS identified an approach for FSCNC that meets and surpasses the national CWPP requirements using the best available science and facilitation processes.
