Project Title: Warm Springs Air/Water Permits and Compliance Assistance
Client: Warm Springs Forest Product Industries and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Oregon

TSS Consultants successfully obtained a Title V air permit from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for the Warm Springs Forest Product Industries lumber mill in central Oregon. By conducting a comprehensive “netting analysis,” TSS demonstrated that new biomass-fired boiler equipment would significantly reduce the facility’s air quality impact. As a result, TSS was able to obtain permitting for the mill as a “non-major source” facility. TSS is currently assisting with compliance activities for the Title V permit and for the facility’s wastewater permit (National Pollution Discharge Elimination System process).  Back
