Project Title: Warm Springs Biomass Project
Client: Warm Springs Forest Product Industries and the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs
Location: Central Oregon
Warm Springs Forest Products Industries, the sawmill enterprise for the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs, retained TSS to provide technical assistance with the development of an 18 MW bioenergy project. TSS led the effort to complete a Biomass Fuel Availability Study which confirmed the economical availability of biomass fuel for the project. TSS is currently providing the following services:
- Economic analysis – financial proformas;
- Biomass fuel supply development (including urban wood and forest sourced material);
- Negotiations with federal agencies regarding long-term stewardship contracts;
- Environmental permitting and compliance;
- Negotiation of power sales agreement;
- Interfacing with state/federal agencies; and
- Sourcing federal funds in support of the project.
